Cluch to power a brand new streaming platform in a ground-breaking partnership with Queensland Rugby League.

Cluch is delighted to announce a new partnership with Queensland Rugby League that will see the launch of a new streaming service powered by Cluch. The platform will feature all QRL statewide competitions as well as regional and representative fixtures from across the state.

Over 400 games will be streamed live and on-demand throughout 2022 including all matches from the HostPlus Cup, QRLW Premiership, Hastings Deering Colts, Auswide Bank Mal Meninga Cup, Harvey Norman Under 19 Girls and Cyril Connell Challenge.

The dedicated platform will centralise all statewide content to showcase the most elite community Rugby League across Queensland. It will help all leagues to better understand their audience, customise their fan experience and offer a broader value proposition to clubs, sponsors and communities.

“Cluch is thrilled to partner with the QRL to power,” said Gus Seebeck, Managing Director of Cluch. “Having a centralised streaming destination for elite level competitions across Queensland will unlock unprecedented opportunities for everyone involved.”

“We feel this is a fantastic result not only for clubs and players but for friends, families and all Rugby League fans who can now watch every game of every competition on one world-class platform”

QRL senior digital manager Mitch Wilson added that the QRL was delighted with what the partnership meant for the game.
“The QRL’s live streaming activity has grown significantly in the last few years and the launch of is the next step in that journey,” Wilson said.

“When we surveyed fans in 2021, 78% called out that our top priority should be increasing the number of games available live and on replay. We are responding directly to that strong demand from fans.”
All games will be available to watch live and on-demand on the dedicated platform on all connected devices and screens. Fans will have the option to subscribe to QPlus.TV with three available offerings – annual, monthly or a weekend ‘round’ pass.
