Football Tasmania joins the existing five Member Federations on the new NPL.TV streaming platform.
Cluch is delighted to announce that Football Tasmania will join the new NPL.TV streaming service, becoming the sixth Member Federation to house their content on the platform.
All 84 games of the McDonald’s National Premier Leagues Tasmania (NPL) and all 63 games of the MyState Bank Women’s Super League (WSL) competition will be streamed live and on-demand on NPL.TV in 2022. This brings the total number of matches on the platform for the year to over 2,000.
Football Tasmania joins Football Victoria, Football NSW, Football South Australia, Capital Football and Northern NSW Football on the new NPL.TV, powered by Cluch.
“Cluch is thrilled to welcome Football Tasmania to the NPL.TV platform,” said Cluch Managing Director, Gus Seebeck. “Having the entirety of both the Men’s and Women’s NPL Tasmania competitions further strengthens the combined offering and will only help to add extra value to everyone involved.”
“Over 15,000 fans have registered and watched more than 500,000 minutes of football on NPL.TV in the first 3 weeks alone,” added Seebeck. “With many competitions still to begin their seasons, we fully expect the audience to continue growing significantly throughout the year.”
Football Tasmania CEO Matt Bulkeley said the new platform would offer increased exposure for Tasmanian football on the national stage.
“We’re delighted to team up with Cluch and the other member federations to join NPL.TV,” Mr Bulkeley said.
“This partnership will give our top-flight competitions more exposure on the national stage, strengthening pathways for Tasmanians to reach higher levels of the game.
